headlines link to their publishers

No recent headlines matched this market. We only show an article when the names in the question appear in its headline, so a very local or very new market often has nothing. Showing nothing is deliberate: an unrelated story here would read like evidence about the price.

Headlines are matched on the names in “Mikel Merino: Anytime Goalscorer”. Nobody checks them by hand, so one may not be relevant. They also say nothing about whether the price has already moved on this news.

How this market resolves

In the upcoming Premier League game between Arsenal FC and Coventry City FC, scheduled for August 21, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Yes" if Mikel Merino is credited with a goal in the official box score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Own goals do not count. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve "50-50". If the player is listed as inactive or otherwise does not play, the market will resolve "No". The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics published by the governing body or event organizers. If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially published final statistics made after market resolution will not be considered in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 48 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50.
